Doctoral research at the University of East Anglia examining how AI technologies extract and reconstruct the memories of Black Muslim women without consent, bringing together Gothic literary theory, postcolonial critique, AI ethics, and Islamic epistemologies of healing.

Founder of Qalb Writers Collective, a community of over 700 Muslim women writers. Co-founder of WAYF Journal, an international literary and visual arts journal platforming diaspora writers and artists.
